Recepcionist (Administrative)

Duty of the Position

Receptionist registers and schedules patients, collects co-pays and checks out patients along with the answering the phone and other clerical duties.

Position responsibilities

Clerical Duties
1. Performs clerical duties.
2. Greets Patients and visitors.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.
4. Register and check out patients.
5. Collect co-pays
6. Answers phones

Job Conditions

Sitting Required to work while remaining in a seated position. Workers may sit to perform activities such as: working on computer or attend meetings. Frequency of sitting is greater when working at the desk vs. in the lobby as the receptionist.
Walking Required to work while moving about on foot. Worker walks on concrete or tile covered flooring. Frequency is less when working at the lobby desk vs when acting as the receptionst.
