Duty of the Position

At UJATcare.com, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for Online Nursing Delegation. In this role, the successful candidate is an RN who delegates part of certain duties, such administering prescription medication or performing blood glucose tests, to the Certificated Nurse Assistant (CNA). An important difference with the standard Nurse Delegation is that this supervision will take place online on most of the occasions with possibility to drive from/to the patient’s house at certain moments. To accomplish this, the successful candidate will have resources available to her/him, which are groundbreaking for the home health industry, e. g. the UJATcare.com technological platform with a strong build system to record, track and review all our processes.

Position responsibilities

- Delegate only those tasks that are within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Determine the competency of the individual to perform the tasks;
- Evaluate the appropriateness of the delegation;
- Supervise the actions of the person performing the delegated task;
-The registered nurse shall verify that the nursing assistant or home care aide, as the case may be, has completed the required core
nurse delegation training required prior to authorizing delegation.
- Communicate effectively with the delegated CNA, making sure he/she performs as directed;
- Are/have been educated and mentored on how to delegate and supervise CNA effectively, including giving and receiving feedback
and evaluating patient outcomes following performance of the delegated task;
- Monitor implementation of the delegated task as appropriate to the overall plan of care;
- Evaluate the CNA’s skills and performance of tasks and provide feedback for improvement if needed.
-Ability to request return Demonstration: return demonstration from the CNA of what was just taught and learned.
- Use the AI powered tools provided by UJATcare to share, record, and transfer the information to stay under HIPAA compliance.

Company Operation

We introduce the first Remote Nurse delegation Program to connect Registered Nurses with Licensed Agencies on an all-in-one platform.
The RN will be in contact remotely with each caregiver to provide audio and visual prompts for the transfer of the knowledge, and therefore, request return demonstration of objectives learned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse active License.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills
- Has or is willing to acquire/enhance technical equipment literacy.
- Has worked or is willing to work remotely and to expect work-related, incoming phone calls, video calls or text messages.
- Proficient in computer skills and able to access and use required software
- Ability to comply with timelines and State regulations
- Relies on best practice policy and exhibits critical thinking skills

Required Licenses and certificates:
- Registered Nurse Licensed.
- Nurse Delegation training in the state, where RN is licensed, preferred.
- Basic Life Support Cert

Preferred Qualifications:
+1 year experience in nurse delegation.
+1 year experience in supervisory tasks.
Home health experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Experience in collaborative work with providers

Equipment Operation

- Technology friendly.
- Knowledge in EVV apps.
- Use of tablets and computers.
- Knowledge in all equipment related to the Nurse Delegation.
