Duty of the Position

Providing a combination of basic personal care activities or homemaking services to registered clients.

Position responsibilities

Responsibilities:
-Provide personal care to clients at client’s residence, (includes bathing, toileting, dressing, general mouth care, grooming and shampooing hair).
-Provide ambulation and transfer help (assisting client in/out bed, wheelchair, walking assistance, and encouraging physical activities).
-Provide housekeeping services for the client. (Includes: vacuuming and sweeping client’s house dusting, mopping, laundry, household cleaning)
-Provide relevant medical services described in client’s Care Plan (Observe and report changes in client’s condition, prescription drugs, medical appointments, medication reminder etc.)
-Provide home management services(grocery shopping, bills paying, scheduling medical apt. errands etc.)
-Perform other responsibilities as indicated.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
-Current certificate to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of “name of the state”, must have excellent background check, no credible evidence found to have participated in any types of misconduct described by state rules and regulations, current negative Tuberculosis screening, free of communicable diseases, current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of state rules and regulations, no history of falsifying qualifications, and able to supply evidence of having worked in a healthcare environment for a minimum of 2 years.

Equipment Operation

Work-related equipment and instruments, experience with EVV app., tablets or smart phones.
