Duty of the Position

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour and up to $1000.00 in Sign On Bonus. We also provide FREE Auto Insurance Benefit!

Duty of the Position
With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

-Companionship
-Bathing, grooming, and toileting
-Medication and appointment reminders
-Transportation for appointments and errands
-Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
-Assists clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) with dignity and respect

Position responsibilities

- Follows the plan of care to provide, safe, competent care to the client
- Helps the client to maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthful, safe environment
- Plan, and prepares nutritious meals and grocery shops
- Attempts to promote the client's mental alertness, through involvement in activities of interest
- Reports any change in the client's mental, physical, or in home situation to the RN
- Performs routine housekeeping tasks, as related to a sage and comfortable environment for the patient, as instructed by the RN
- Prepares a visit report promptly

Qualifications

- HHA (If you don't have this, we can help you become an HHA)
- CNA
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proof of current TB testing
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and insurance
- Must possess good communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass a level 2 criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
- Pass a drug screening
- Ability to communicate with clients in a kind manner
