Duty of the Position
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Accompanying clients to appointments
Alzheimer's Care
Personal Care: $ 14 per hour
Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
Diapering
Hands on bathing and cleaning of peri areas
Secondary Responsibilities
Contributing to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life
Performing other reasonable duties as assigned
Reporting hours according to office policy
Reporting any significant changes in a clients needs or living conditions
Regularly communicating with supervisor and office staff
Position responsibilities
Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
The CAREGiver position may require you to run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a clients's vehicle

Qualifications
Minimum one year of documented CNA experience.
High school diploma or GED
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
