Duty of the Position

An Assistant Health Administrator, or Healthcare Administrator, is responsible for overseeing practices and procedures within a healthcare organization. Their duties include setting budgets for their facility, ensuring their facility adheres to health laws and regulations and implementing new methods to increase efficiency and patient experiences within their facility.

Assist in the hiring process and preform key performance indicators with current staff. Provide constructive feedback as needed to staff to allow for professional performance for our clients.

All other duties as assigned within the general scope of the position.

Position responsibilities

Our Assistant Health Administrator will use strong management and organizational skills to oversee the administrative tasks of a healthcare facility and will typically have the following responsibilities:

Evaluate the budget and create reports with recommendations to cut costs
Schedule employees based on patient needs
Oversee the organization of all patient records
Stay up to date on healthcare laws and regulations
Offer recommendations to decision-makers on ways to improve the efficiency of the office
Participate in training for the position as needed to stay up to date on current procedures
Reports to the Administrator

Job Conditions

Office environment 90% of the time and supplemented with managerial functions such as travel to banks, client site, and other outside duties relating to the Administrator position.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Home Care operations is required including proficiency of general office equipment such as Windows Office Suite. Formal education in related field is highly desired. May be willing to train the right individual.
